Value-first discovery
Frames business pain, customer journeys, stakeholders, risk and success measures before proposing a technology path.
Enterprise APACRex Joseph Piloton is an APAC presales leader and customer-facing AI practitioner who translates complex CX problems into compelling demos, rapid proofs of concept, production-minded architectures, and measurable business outcomes.
NiCE needs an advisor who can uncover high-value AI opportunities, simplify the architecture, build the proof, and make the value credible to both executives and engineers. That has been the centre of Rex’s career across conversational AI, enterprise CX, SaaS, and professional services.

Enterprise APACTurns discovery into focused demonstrations that make the solution tangible for technical, operational and executive buyers.
Ada · Zendesk · EverbridgeBuilds working journeys using agent prompts, APIs, JSON payloads, mock services, tool calls, voice, UI and evaluation scenarios.
Hands-on builderConnects channels, orchestration, models, knowledge, CRM, contact-centre platforms, guardrails and human escalation.
Pilot → productionExplains architecture, security, integrations and trade-offs in business language while holding credibility with engineering teams.
C-level to APIBrings structured market feedback to Product and Engineering and converts repeatable learning into demos, playbooks and enablement.
Builder + multiplierFor an enterprise voice-AI evaluation, Rex built a complete airline recovery experience: a multilingual voice agent, API-driven rebooking tools, live journey visualization, human handoff with context, deterministic test scenarios and a release-readiness dashboard.

High-volume, costly or inconsistent service moments.

Business firstRex can frame the end-to-end system without losing the customer in a wall of boxes: where the interaction begins, how the agent reasons, what knowledge it trusts, which action it takes, how risk is controlled, and when a human enters.
Telephony, chat, messaging, web and mobile customer journeys.
Intent, dialog, reasoning, context, policy and experience orchestration.
Enterprise content, retrieval, semantic search and governed answers.
CRM, order, booking, identity, workflow and system-of-record actions.
Outcome metrics, quality tests, latency, cost, safety and human handoff.
The through-line is consistent: understand the problem, earn technical confidence, make value visible, and leave the customer and field team stronger.
The strongest AI presales work does more than explain what a platform can do. It identifies the customer journey that matters, connects it to a measurable business outcome, and builds enough working evidence for buyers, engineers and operators to believe the path to production.
That is the work I have built my career around. At Ada, I am one of the founding presales practitioners in APAC, leading enterprise discovery, tailored demonstrations, architecture conversations and proofs of concept for customer-facing AI. Before Ada, I led complex opportunities and strengthened regional solution-engineering capability at Everbridge, AI Rudder, Zendesk, Kasisto and Experian.
I am especially drawn to this role because NiCE Cognigy brings agentic AI into the environment where I have spent much of my career: enterprise customer experience and contact centres. The opportunity is not simply to demonstrate an AI agent. It is to show how that agent can reason within guardrails, retrieve trusted knowledge, take action through enterprise systems, recover safely, collaborate with humans and generate measurable operational value.
My recent voice-agent build reflects how I approach that challenge. I developed the conversation, mocked the required services, connected webhook tools, visualized the agent’s actions, designed multilingual behavior, created deterministic evaluation scenarios and translated the technical work into a concise business narrative. I would bring that same builder mindset to NiCE’s discovery calls, demos, POCs and customer architecture conversations.
I am based in Singapore and hold Singapore Permanent Residency, with extensive customer and GTM experience across APAC. I would welcome a conversation about how I could support the Sydney team and NiCE Cognigy’s broader regional growth.
